Ranthambore
National Park

Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks in Northern India, located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan. It’s renowned for its tiger population and is considered one of the best places in India to spot these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. om Sawai Madhopur district of Eastern Rajasthan in India.
Back then Ranthambore forest was the private hunting reserves of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The sanctuary establishes in the year 1955 by the Indian government & was declared as project tiger reserves in the year 1973. It acknowledged national park in the year 1980 & later in the year 1991 the Ranthambore tiger reserve was enlarged after inclusion of kela Devi sanctuary.
The National Park is open from 15th March – 14th October between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and from 15th October – 14th March between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. It is closed on Wednesday so make sure you plan your visit accordingly.

Palighat Eligator Sanctuary

The National Chambal Gharial Sanctuary, also known as the Palighat Crocodile Safari Park, is a 425 km long sanctuary in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan that’s home to Gharial and Crocodile species. The sanctuary is located on the banks of the Chambal River, about 45 kilometers from Ranthambore. The sanctuary’s main attractions are the Gharial and the Crocodile.
